Since 1996, Roger Gerber and Beth Kaplan have grown Blackwing Quality Meats from a specialty meat business into a trusted source for game, exotic, and premium proteins serving home cooks, chefs, retailers, and foodservice customers across the country.
Roger helped pioneer the U.S. ostrich industry and brought that same willingness to seek out unusual, better-for-you proteins into Blackwing. Together, Roger and Beth built the company around personal relationships, hard-to-find products, direct sourcing, and a belief that customers deserve more choice in what they put on the table.
