In keeping with the highest standards of the health food industry, Blackwing offers young whole chickens with no hormones or antibiotics. They are fed organic feed and have plenty of space to fully qualify as free range chicken.

Each young chicken is fed an organic vegetarian feed its entire life. Processing at 6 weeks assures tenderness.

Blackwing goes even further to make sure our whole birds are top quality. All ingredients must be certified as acceptable by a third party certifier. They are raised on family farms in Virginia in Amish country. Each bird is tracked from egg to our door.
