All About Shipping Our Meats
All orders are first come - first served and are never shipped the same day the order is placed. We do not guarantee that your orders will ship the same week they are placed. Our Shipping Schedule is as follows: 3 Day Shipping goes out on Mondays and Tuesdays, 2 Day Shipping goes out Tuesday through Wednesday, and 1 Day Shipping goes out normally on Thursdays. Fridays our Shipping Department is closed as UPS will not deliver on Saturdays (unless Saturday delivery is chosen) or Sundays. UPS cannot specify a time frame of when they can deliver but they state the package should get there anytime between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm. If shipping to a business please state your hours of operation Monday thru Friday. If you are ordering and must choose 3 Day Shipping, please be sure to try to order the week prior because if you order on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, your order will not ship until the next following business week. If your order states UPS 2 or 3 Day Ground then these orders will go out Mondays through Wednesdays. Again, please note that orders do not ship the same day they are placed.

PICK UP ORDERS: Orders cannot be placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday for weekend pick up. Our shipping department is closed on Friday so there is no one to pick your order. Please make sure to place your Will Call order by Thursday if you would like a weekend pick up.
Our goal is to ship our product to you so that it safely arrives with its full nutrition and flavor preserved, at the lowest possible cost to you. Our meats are processed fresh and then flash frozen until they arrive at your door. This method allows us to deliver meats of the highest possible quality.
Please note that we do require an order minimum of 5 lbs to ensure that your frozen products arrive safely.
Due to availability of some products, your order may not ship immediately. If it is critical that your order not be delayed, please call us at (800) 326-7874.
Our Shipping Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will issue a refund or replacement of the product in question (your choice) depending on the situation. If you return a shipment to Blackwing, it must arrive to Blackwing wholesome. To insure that your order arrives properly frozen, please make sure all address information given to Blackwing is correct. If a package is delayed and products perish due to incorrect address information, we can not give a full refund. We will never ship an order out over the weekend unless Saturday delivery is specified. Just call us at (800) 326-7874 if you have any concerns. It's that simple!
How We Pack Our Meats
- Our product is packed to last 3 days under normal "in transit" conditions
- All perishable product is packed in insulated containers with liners.
- Dry ice and gel packs are added to package contents to keep your product frozen until it arrives at the intended location.
How We Ship Our Meats
- Our advanced shipping system only uses shipping methods which are capable of getting your perishable product to you in 3 days or less to assure that your order arrives frozen.
When We Ship
We make every effort to ship your product as soon as possible. However, in order to ensure the freshest product we operate on a "just in time" inventory system. This means that some of our products may be momentarily unavailable and your shipment may be delayed.
Keeping Shipping Costs Low
- Due to Blackwing's high shipping volumes, we negotiate reduced shipping rates from our shipping service providers and pass these savings on to you.
- Please note that your shipping cost per pound will always be lower if you order more product.
